Storyboard

So for our commercial we are starting it off by filming a computer, we would have liked to film a vintage tv but we will have to work with it.  we start off recording an old computer.
The computer is going to be playing the first couple of scenes. We will be zooming into the computer and at around five seconds the footage will fully be on the screen and the computer will be gone.
We are starting the first scene by recording a rail right in front of the auditorium where there is flat ground. Flat ground is important for skating because it's smooth and allows tricks to be executed efficiently. We will be filming the rail then slowly zooming into the subject wearing the merchandise. The subject will then do a couple of tricks on the skateboard. We will proceed to slowly track and move the camera to a low angle. We will then perform a panoramic shot around the subject's body till we get to its shirt.

The pan will end with the box vans logo premiered on the subject's body.
Throughout the next couple of seconds there will be multiple jump cuts and scenes rapidly coming in and out. The jump cuts will be between two scenes mainly. The first scene is the skating it’s self which will showcase vans shoes and a skateboard. The second scene is a dutch shot of multiple items of clothing from vans. The items will include t-shirts, shoes, long sleeve shirts, and some pieces with "a vans aesthetic". The second scene is going to be filmed at two locations around campus. One is on the Flying L in the senior patio. The senior patio is located at the front of the school.
And the main stairs which have quotes on them and lead up to AICE media studies.

My partner and I will also be putting the apparel on and take medium shots. The shots will show all the shirts we’ve brought as well as the shoes. It will be filmed on the 3rd-floor entrance of either building 21 or 17. Both buildings tend to have a lot of good lighting on the 3rd floor because it’s not blocked off by any other buildings. The last scene will be at the point of entry to our school. At the point of entry there is this very cool art piece that doesn’t get much attention. Our subject will end off the commercial by riding its board from one side of the shot to the other. That scene will be filmed in a long shot. And once the subject is halfway through the end of the shot that when the vans logo will appear. The logo will be black and show up from half of that shot to the end. And that will conclude our commercial.
